Info

The title track of the album. This was written after seeing yet another one of my favourite open spaces built on by developers. I find looking out at the horizon one of the most relaxing things you can do. It's very freeing somehow. But as time moves on, the buildings keep popping up and blocking out the horizons. There are very few of them left.

Lyrics

I don't take my feet out into the street
I don't go out anymore
I've got my own four walls so I don't see the call
To step outside of my front door

chorus
What's the story about I say
Who took all my horizons away
Must we live in these corridors of stone
If we give them time they'll make stone of us all

I've said my goodbyes to when I'd cast my eyes
Out where the skyline meets the land
Now all I can see are walls in front of me
My eyes reach no further than my hand

Gets me down the way this town is closing inon me
Agitated, I'm suffocated, I need to breathe

So we spend our days inside this concrete maze
Wherever we may roam
No sense of room or space, instead now in its place
Just these corridors of stone
